Northern Westchester Periodontics and Dental Implants
Dr. Kenneth Legunn received his DMD degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1981. He completed his general dental residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Northport, NY in association with Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is a former clinical assistant instructor at the school of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook. Dr. Legunn received his Certificate in Periodontology from Columbia University in 1984. As a dental student, he pursued research on nutrition as it relates to periodontal disease. He is an experienced and skilled periodontist and has been placing dental implants for 25 years.
Dr. Legunn takes continuing education courses in order to bring the best dental care to his patients.Dr. Legunn has lectured and published in the field of periodontics and dental implants.
He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the NY State Dental Society, the Ninth District Dental Society, the Putnam County Study Group, and was previously the President of the Northern Westchester Study Club.
He has been listed in the Westchester Magazine as a Top Dentist for many years. Dr. Legunn believes in the importance of community service. He has organized and held several blood drives at his Pleasantville office.
Dr. Legunn has been married for over 30 years and has two sons. He enjoys tennis (former captain of a 4.0 Men’s USTA team), cycling and hiking.
